Making things balance is the first step in the Science of Math.
Hint
Make the scale balance by moving

weights from the table to the scale
pan on the right side until the scale is balanced.
You can tell when the scale is balanced when the scale comes to rest by
comparing the heights of the pans, or looking at the white indicator line
compared to the centerline on the beam.
